Ross Chastain has been in the news for quite some time now for rubbing a bunch of drivers the wrong way with his antics on the track. Trackhouse Racing’s Justin Marks asked for NASCAR drivers like Denny Hamlin and Chase Elliott to not hate and race hard against Chastain since he is still learning and improving his driving with every race.

During an interview, Marks stated, “Ross is obviously going through a learning curve as all these guys that have come on the scene and are fast right away do.”
Marks went on to say, “He’s learning and he had something big taken away from him at Pocono and he gets raced hard right now. He’s adapting to that. he’s figuring it out but, as far as concern or worry about the playoffs, I don’t worry….”

He stated that drivers usually race him hard and that leads to on-track chaos. Previously, multiple drivers had marked Chastain as one of their biggest enemies on the racing track.
Will the long list of enemies prove to be a problem during the playoffs?
Chastain is no stranger to being called public enemy number one ever since he managed to turn nearly half the grid into his enemies, all thanks to his on-track shenanigans.

The Trackhouse Racing driver’s antics might just come back to haunt him during the playoffs, as all the top 16 drivers gear up to take their shot at the Cup Series Championship. Kyle Busch once spoke about Chastain’s championship-winning chances and said, “Absolutely not. No way. No chance. I don’t think people are paying him back yet because they’re waiting for the right time.”
After hearing Busch’s statement on Chastain, there might be a possibility that other drivers would try to deliver him payback for his earlier reckless on-track antics. Drivers like Denny Hamlin, Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, Martin Truex Jr, Kyle Busch, and several others are at an absolute boiling point with the watermelon man and might just exact their revenge on him, in case he tries to go for the win.
