As the final race of the season gets underway, Toyota Racing decided to pay a tribute to Kyle Busch, as he leaves the team after spending 15 long years with them. The tribute video talks about his 15-year stint, in which, Busch secured two championships and countless wins. However, the tribute did not manage to appease the Rowdy fans as they lashed out on social media.

Toyota’s official Twitter handle posted, “15 years we’ve fought together, won together, and became better together. Thank you @KyleBusch.“

They also put up a video that documented all of the best moments throughout their history together with Toyota Racing Development and Joe Gibbs Racing. However, ever since Busch and JGR went through that bitter divorce with their partnership, fans of the driver have been bitter towards the team and the manufacturer.
Kyle Busch fans are not amused by the tribute post
Fans were unhappy that TRD and JGR were not able to retain their iconic driver and that Busch is now leaving next season for a rival team.

Fans called out Toyota for not putting in enough of a fight to make sure that Busch would stay with the iconic team. Instead, TRD and JGR managed to anger and frustrate Busch enough for him to look elsewhere, in the hopes of finding greener pastures.
And yet, you let one of the best to do it go to not only another team, but another manufacturer. I fully expect @KyleBusch to torch the field next year.

The ugly battle between Kyle Busch and JGR raised the eyebrows of every Busch fan this year. Moreover, it also took a toll on Rowdy himself, as his future in the sport hung by a thread. However, Busch finally found himself a seat where he could start fresh and possibly feel at home. During the early half of the playoffs, he finally announced that he would be moving to Richard Childress Racing, come next year. Many fans were ecstatic at the news, and they believed that a fresh environment would be a massive boost for Kyle Busch.
