This has been a good outing for the team 23XI Racing. Having started his race from 24th on the grid, Bubba finished in a much improved tenth place. Moreover, the 23XI driver finished his stage one in seventh place, and stage two in tenth. Bubba picked up the much important 32 points to move up in the driver’s standings.
However, Wallace Jr has come under strict criticism from Nick Adams. Nick, as stated on his Twitter bio is former United States President Donald Trump’s endorsed author. ‘The best-selling author’ criticized the 23XI driver vehemently during the Kansas Speedway race.
In a series of posts on Twitter, Adams conveyed, “Bubba Wallace is a TERRIBLE Nascar driver, he has no business in the big leagues.” In another post, he stated, “When I think about highly skilled and talented NASCAR drivers, I do not think about Bubba Wallace.”
Bubba Wallace can't handle the truth. He can't handle being told he's not that good at racing. pic.twitter.com/fTGPrDd78T

Adams further asserted on Twitter, “Bubba Wallace isn’t good enough to win at Dave & Buster’s, and he’s certainly not good enough to win at the NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas!” Interestingly, the 28-year-old driver has blocked Adams on Twitter. Nick shared, “Bubba Wallace can’t handle the truth. He can’t handle being told he’s not that good at racing.”
The NASCAR fans back Bubba Wallace
Despite so much criticism by Nick Adams, the fans have come out to support Bubba Wallace.
Given below are some of the fan reactions:
Top 10 finish says otherwise…

Bubba lives rent free in your head 🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱

You picked one of the worst days to say this 😂 today was his best run at a non superspeedway he’s had. He actually ran as high as 5th and his pit crew had a bad pit stop that set him back.
He’s not great but he’s not bad. Saying he’s terrible is a big stretch.

Why call him out specifically? Where's the outrage about Ty Dillon? 179 starts, 0 wins, 2 top 5s?
Bubba has 161 starts, 1 win, 7 top 5s. Nevermind, I know why.
Just be honest. Say you're going by your politics, not his performance. Better yet, pick another sport to troll.— Janine Cloud (@LJC777) May 16, 2022
Ummm?? Did you watch the race today?? He did pretty well today

Bubba Wallace drove to a top 10 after being sent to the back twice for pit crew penalties, can you say the same about any other driver today?
— An Ape Throwing Coleslaw? (@yungtw1z) May 15, 2022
You're insane, he ran a solid top 10 today. If it weren't for a pit problem, he likely would've been 5th. He's been running very well lately! You must have no idea how hard it is to even get a top 20 in @NASCAR Cup Series

Interesting that you choose to pick one NASCAR driver that you feel doesn't belong. Especially on a day where said driver rebounded from several issues on pit road to score a top-10.

And finally an interesting one:
.@BubbaWallace came from the back twice (due to penalties that were not his fault) to beat 26 other drivers today – including this year's "Daytona 500" winner – and 4 former #NASCAR Cup Series Champions. Only 9 drivers finished ahead of him. His finish was better than your take.
