The Tricky Triangle once again showcased its trickery. While Joe Gibbs Racing‘s Toyotas claimed the first and third spots, the day ended on a bitter note for Stewart-Haas Racing as only the veteran, Kevin Harvick made it into the top 10. While this has put them in dire straits, one of its underperforming drivers had a heated exchange following the action-packed race at Pocono Raceway, adding more tension.

Following an eventful race at the 2.5-mile Superspeedway that saw plenty of drama with the track testing the drivers early on in the race. The drama even spilled late during the race when SHR’s Ryan Preece spun his way out, essentially extending his dull winless streak.

With back-to-back bumps ruining his day, much like what happened last week, Preece had enough and furiously confronted Corey LaJoie in the pit lane weeks after Rick Hendrick stomped out Stewart’s hopes.

Tony Stewart’s SHR driver loses his cool as months of agonizing streak take its toll on the driver

Heading into Pocono, SHR’s #41 driver, Ryan Preece must’ve been in good hopes, eyeing to better his position and end his winless streak. However, fate had other plans for the former modified stock car racer as he ended his day on a sour note, spilling drama on the track.

Chasing his first win in the Cup Series, the 32-year-old once again fell short dropping from 22nd to 31st at the end of the race. His late caution even-handed Denny Hamlin his 7th win at the track but brought out the pent-up frustration in the #41 driver as he displayed it post-race by confronting LaJoie who was just behind him before he spun out.

With back-to-back weeks of awful performances, Preece released his fury out on the #7 calling him out, “Fu** you, you piece of sh*t, that was fu**ing bullsh*t, and you fu**ing know.” 27th in the points standings, Ryan Preece hasn’t had a top-10 finish this season let alone make his mark in the promotion further, making the situation all the direr for him and his team.

While last week’s stint with Michael McDowell was diffused proficiently by the #34 driver, apologizing to Preece, things this week, however, got the best of Preece as he succumbed to his emotions, brutally shaming LaJoie. Not to mention Sunday’s incident was just weeks after Mr. H killed off Stewart’s hopes of bringing LaJoie over to SHR.
