Building on the momentum, the 2023 season saw an upward curve in terms of his SRX Racing Series. Aiming to bring back the iconic Thursday Night Racing under a new garb, the Hall of Famer witnessed his ambition come to fruition.

Trying to keep up with the velocity of the past season, it seems that SRX Racing has another propelling factor to its name as it promises the return of another iconic racing track: the Slinger Speedway.

The last two seasons of Tony Stewart’s racing series have garnered applause from the NASCAR insiders for its diverse category. Owing to this unprecedented success, the Cup Series champion is set to lift the curtains for its fourth season, gradually unveiling the tracks that the drivers are set to brace in the upcoming season. In a recent official announcement made by the authorities of SRX Racing on Instagram, a race at the iconic Slinger Speedway is confirmed for July 25th, 2024.

The post read, “You’ve asked and we listened. SRX and Thursday Night Thunder will return to Slinger Speedway on July 25th, 2024!”

However, NASCAR stars frequently come to the circuit for a one-time drive in a local car owner’s car in the signature race. In the past, several Cup Series champions, including Dale Earnhardt, Rusty Wallace, Bobby Allison, Alan Kulwicki, Matt Kenseth, Kyle Busch, and Chase Elliott, have also competed at the track.

Furthermore, to secure the future of the series, Tony Stewart secured heavy funding at the beginning of the 2023 season. As a result, the series valuation stands at $40 million. This is after they received funding of $8 million from agency giant Endeavor and hedge fund manager Jamie Dinan. With one step already into the future, the series is ready to portray another spectacular season with a star-studded driver list.

The racing series also unveiled the other iconic locations where the drivers would be revving up their engines. The tracks include the name of Berlin Raceway in Michigan, which would host the series on August 1.

Another track, Stafford Speedway, will host the inaugural race of the 2024 season on July 11. The race, which is scheduled for July 18th, will be hosted at the legendary Thunder Road Superbowl.

With that being said, it will be interesting to see who is crowned as the next champion of this series. Additionally, racing fans earnestly hope for the return of Cup Series veterans like Kyle Busch and Dale Earnhardt Jr. However, whether these hopes will come to fruition will be a test of time.
