Can a person be at two places at the same time? Well, there are a few theories—some scientific, some fictional, and some simply wishful. It seems that Tony Stewart has one such wish.

One might surely wonder why the need for cloning, and why Tony Stewart would be needing it. Well, the answer lies in the race scheduling of the Eldora sprint race and the opening race of SRX Racing. Apparently, Stewart had mixed up the dates of the races, with both races scheduled on the same day and both requiring his presence.

Stewart revealed the facts and the solution he came up with after mixing up the dates of both events. In the pre-race interview before the SRX Series opener at the Stafford Motor Speedway, the Stewart-Haas Racing co-owner revealed, “I was in Ohio last night at Eldora Speedway, we got a little sprint car race going off tonight, that’s paying one million dollars to win.

And then I get to call two days after we do the announcement for the Sprint Car Day, Don Hawkes says, you know that’s the same night that we run Stafford at the beginning of the year. You gotta be sh**ting me. So I told him in a driver’s meeting last night that I was going to be missing the millions.”

Moreover, Stewart also divulged, “So my group was very forward-thinking and made a plexiglass stand-up of me. And in victory lane whoever wins this thing tonight, wins the million dollars tonight, sliding me in. So, I will be there, I am just gonna be there but a lot thinner.

“This was our best attempt to try. Man if they ever get this cloning, didn’t they do it with a sheep or a lamb or something? Farmers ask for that sheep, it must have been a lamb they did because it was a whole different dude.”

The news was announced by the owner of the Eldora dirt track, Tony Stewart, just days ahead of the race. Moreover, the prize money be awarded to the victor was in collaboration with FloRacing.

Stewart revealed to the media, “I think the biggest thing I’m proud of is the fact that we’re going to make history.  To have a sprint car driver win over a million dollars is something that’s never been done. We’ve had two $1,000,000-to-win Dirt Late Model races here at Eldora. I’m really excited that the Sprint Car community is finally getting a one million-dollar-to-win race.”
