Amidst TikTok ban news circulating over social media, users have started to pick sides. Some say it will not impact them, others are expressing concerns. The circumstances are no different for the NASCAR community, either. While Veteran Kenny Wallace feels NASCAR is heavily invested in TikTok, Dale Jr. feels it has nothing significant to add to NASCAR. However, both sportsmen have no direct problem with the platform ban. The real question is, what about racers who owe their fanbase to this social media platform?

Even though NASCAR drivers have no direct relations with the platform ban, it could hamper their PR and outreach. Many fans from other countries rely on social media to keep track of their favorite racing entity. In the meantime, TikTok has helped NASCAR build a global presence. However, Toni Breidinger, NASCAR’s most followed social media entity, had yet to say something about the ongoing speculations. The model-turned-racer has recently joined the NASCAR Truck Series as a full-time racer and left behind a strongly worded reply about her views regarding the ban.

Fans awaited her reaction to the platform ban. And today, she shared a story on her official Instagram profile expressing her views. In the story, Toni Breidinger lip-syncs to Emma Roberts as Madison Montgomery from ‘The Sacred Taking’ episode of American Horror Story: Season 3 (2013). The line says, “Surprise, bi***. I bet you thought you’d seen the last of me,” with the text “me to TikTok rn”.

The context is resurrection when another character thought Madison died. This shows that she remains unhinged to the banning of the platform as a racer. But what about the influencer that lives deep within her?

Breidinger’s previous story showed fellow American Tennis player, Coco Gauff writing “RIP TikTok USA” on a camera lens at the ongoing Australian Open. This reflects she is disappointed about the TikTok ban. But, the speculations of the ban affecting her might have gotten the better of her! It seems her social media popularity raised questions about her reach after the platform stopped working. And, her story seems to be a befitting reply! Well, her life looks rosy with her racing career.

Toni Breidinger was a full-time driver at the ARCA Menards Series for Venturini Motorsports. In December 2024, Breidinger announced joining NASCAR as a full-time racer. She will compete in the 2025 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, rocking the red no. 5 Toyota Tundra for TRICON. However, she did not venture into racing directly.

Before becoming the first Arab-American Driver to compete in the NASCAR Nationals, Toni Breidinger was a social media influencer and model for the leading agency, IMG Models. She is a Victoria Secret’s Model and will be the first NASCAR driver to feature in Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue in 2025. Her fanbase has over 5 million fans, of which, 2.3 million were on TikTok.

But, does TikTok getting banned hamper Breidinger and NASCAR at all?

Going ‘off-camera’ to ‘behind the wheels’

In an interview with Forbes, Toni Breidinger said, “It’s exciting that they not only believe in me, but also female athletes… it’s very empowering to work with brands that kind of have the same morals as me.

Even though she said this with context to Toyota, Raising Cane’s, and CELSIUS, TikTok was one of her biggest supporters. The interview also featured her saying some of her partners did not know about NASCAR but were willing to support her.

Knowing that 2025 is the first time Hot Shoes will balance full-time racing with modeling, TikTok might have sided with TRICON Garage to support her. This could have opened many more promotional opportunities for NASCAR and Toni Breidinger. She had also dropped her official merchandise a few days ago.

If the TikTok ban was not evident, could we see them sponsoring their platform-favorite of the sport!? Well, now we have no clue.
