Model-turned-racer Toni Breidinger has become a popular name in the world of NASCAR. The NASCAR Truck Series star has attracted quite a bit of attention after she embraced roles as a full-time racer for the 2025 season. Driving the No. 5 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, Breidinger is all set to embrace new roles and excel as a prolific driver in her field. 

Being one of the only drivers now to be featured in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue, Toni Breidinger has been at the crux of the limelight for quite some time now. Here’s a detailed insight into her journey so far. 

Who is Toni Breidinger?

Toni Breidinger is a 25-year-old upcoming NASCAR Truck Series driver hailing from the old Bay Area. She has already spent two part-time seasons with TRICON Garage. She was born on July 14th, 1999 and her hometown is San Francisco, California. Given her lineage, she is the very first Arab – American driver who has been able to participate in the NASCAR national series. 

Breidinger gained recognition early in her motorsports journey, securing 19 victories in the United States Automobile Club (USAC). In her late teens, she shifted her focus from open-wheel midget cars to stock car racing. Alongside competing in the ARCA series, she has also taken on a part-time role in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

With 27 top-ten finishes, there is no doubt that Toni Breidinger has been able to account for the most promising history that a woman driver has ever had. However, it is not only as a driver that she has been able to mark her forte. Breidinger is known for her successful modeling career as well. She has appeared in high-profile advertisement shoots for brands like GAP and even Victoria’s Secret.

In her driving career, over the past two seasons, she has participated in four NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events. In 2024, Breidinger competed full-time in the ARCA Menards Series with Venturini Motorsports. She achieved 11 Top 10 finishes across 20 races. Along with that, she also secured fourth place in the championship standings.

Toni Breidinger gets promoted to the Truck Series

Breidinger is most popularly known for her stint with the ARCA Menards Series. This one includes 65 starts along with four top 5 finishes and a total of 27 top 10 finishes. Breidinger has accounted in history as one of the drivers with the number of Top 10 finishes in the series history. After her part-time stint as a driver, she took up the 2025 season as a full-time driver for the NASCAR Truck Series.

For the 2025 season, Toni Breidinger will be joining Corey Heim and Tanner Gray at the TRICON Garage. This team is known to prepare drivers from scratch at the Truck Series and hence the opportunity does look lucrative for the fresh talent. The team currently fields five full-time entries in the series and it is also one of the flagship partners for Toyota Racing Development. However, currently not much is known about the team line-up or the crew chief.

Will Toni Breidinger be able to finally bring a female voice into the world of NASCAR 

NASCAR’s encounters with female drivers have not been very good in the past. Be it Danica Patrick or even Hailie Deegan, each of these drivers had to bid adieu to their NASCAR career in a short while. Recently, Hailie Deegan made an official announcement about how she bid goodbye to her NASCAR journey after a brief NASCAR Xfinity journey and joining her IndyNXT battalion. 

However, it seems as though Tony Breidinger might be someone who can go a long way in the sport. In fact, given her popularity, she has already been able to attract millions of followers to her social media account. Not only that, along with her records as a female driver, Breidinger has been able to attract quite a sturdy sponsor base.

Celsius, a leading name in the field of energy drinks has happily joined aboard with Tony Breidinger. Even in the field of Formula One, it will be supporting names like Lewis Hamilton after having sponsored Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. Speaking of getting Celsius as a sponsor, Breidinger said, “CELSIUS has been my go-to source for pre-race energy for years. F1 has a lot of hype around it right now, especially with like the Netflix series and everything like that. Those drivers are massive. They have massive followings. I feel like everything they do kind of just looks cool. So yeah, it’s cool to kind of be a part of the partnership that they’re doing as well”. 

 As Toni Breidinger embarks on her full-time NASCAR Truck Series journey, she carries not only the weight of breaking barriers and the promise of redefining success for women in motorsports. With a strong sponsor lineup and an impressive racing resume, she is poised to make a lasting impact on the track and beyond.
