It seems like for Chase Briscoe, all his secrets are being aired out lately. First, his secret news about joining Joe Gibbs Racing gets leaked out by none other than his future teammate Christopher Bell. And as if that weren’t weird enough, another secret got leaked out by no other than the NASCAR team itself! Clearly an “ouch” moment, isn’t it? And just like Briscoe was clueless the first time around and was busy dirt racing without a cell network when the Bell mishap took headlines, he was as clueless when NASCAR revealed a rather revealing picture of him on their socials!

“I wasn’t really mad. It was kind of funny, I thought,” Briscoe had admitted, after witnessing the earlier incident. However, this one picture posted a few hours ago, ignited a flurry of conversations, and suddenly, the NASCAR world and even Dale Earnhardt Jr. weren’t talking about races anymore—they were talking about hair.

The cat’s out of the bag or cap for Chase Briscoe!

Briscoe had a great day at the New Hampshire race and in fact, finished at P2 just behind Christopher Bell. For the drivers of Stewart Haas Racing, every track is another opportunity to prove their worth. Hence, with two drivers on the podium Josh Berry and Chase Briscoe, it was a great day. Both the drivers exchanged smiles and pleasantries and this sweet moment was captured by NASCAR and posted on X. While the picture was great, it had Briscoe embarrassed- it was one of those moments you didn’t realize at ‘first glance’.

NASCAR revealed Chase’s head without a hat!

In the picture, everyone could see his partially bald head. Briscoe re-shared the post and wrote, “Dang y’all did me dirty posting a non-hat picture. Maybe it’s time to call Joey and join the new hair club or just shave it all together.”

Joey Logano faced a similar issue with his hair and had struggled with alopecia. However, he found a solution, and that helped him tackle the balding issue. And if you think only Logano was pulled into the “balding” conversation, you’re wrong.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. in a funny banter, tweeted, What say you @Team_Onion, tagging Todd Bodine into the conversation. As a two-time NASCAR champion and FOX Sports analyst, Bodine, who is also bald, unknowingly became part of the running controversy, with Earnhardt Jr.’s tweet humorously hinting that perhaps Bodine should consider trying Logano’s solution to get new hair.

In fact, Jeff Gluck, who is part of the balding community, had advice for Chase Briscoe. He said, “Shave it. Don’t turn your back on the balding community, Chase.” Well, we don’t know if Chase Briscoe made that call to Rick Hendrick, which he was saying he would make. But he sure does seem to have to call Joey Logano. Because Logano’s hair transformed his entire look—shed decades of his face! Maybe next season, with his new hair, fresh look, and new team, Briscoe will look to start afresh on a dominating streak!

Chase Briscoe shone brightly at the USA Today 301 race. Wonder if it’s because of the newfound confidence after being relieved of having that secure seat next season? After all, he did seem tensed, troubled with whatever was going down with SHR. In fact, before the announcement by Tony Stewart, he was actually at public forums like Reddit trying to find answers from fans. He was distressed. He even mentioned after the entire news broke out that for him every race is crucial, an audition to get team owners to notice.

He said that he cannot afford to be laid back because he has a family to care for and with twins arriving soon, not even more so. And sure, he did get noticed by the Joe Gibbs Racing team. It is truly a huge upgrade for him.

In New Hampshire, he managed a second-place finish, and he had someone to thank–the rain gods! He said,The rain saved us for sure. We were terrible in the dry and we knew, you know, typically on the road course isn’t even the ovals that we ran in the rain. We’ve been pretty good truthfully. I didn’t expect to drive up to second. But yeah, really good recovery as far as that forward. Cool for them too, this their first time ever in the sport and to come away with a chance at a win.”

He had finished stage 1 in P27 place and he gained a slight position to P22 in stage 2. But his real leap through came after the race restarted after the rain delay. Briscoe, who already has experience with dirt racing, took advantage of the wet weather conditions.

By lap 293 he trailblazer to the 5th position. Then finally he managed to get the runner-up position. With this finish, he is up to P16 in the driver’s standings. While he had a great race, much is needed to be prepped for the upcoming race at Nashville. Because historically he has struggled at the track and his best finishes being 31st in both 2021 and 2023.
