Becoming a dad and then securing a racing future – what combo could be better? Bubba Wallace and his wife Amanda Carter announced their upcoming parenthood in April 2024. What followed was a joyous wait in preparation for the final day – they welcomed baby Becks Hayden on 29th September. However, Wallace could not enjoy it to the fullest, as 23XI Racing was among two teams that filed the NASCAR lawsuit.

The legal battle between Bubba Wallace’s team and NASCAR seemed to tilt in the latter’s favor. However, recent events have turned the tables somewhat – and Wallace has a secured Cup Series ride for 2025. Throw in some father-son time with that and Wallace found heaven – with fans wishing him the best of luck.

From high-school sweethearts to a high-octane power couple – Bubba Wallace and Amanda Carter molded a beautiful life together. They started dating in 2016 and got engaged in 2021 in front of a waterfall in Oregon. The marriage was equally fascinating – in December 2022, Wallace and Carter got married in Charlotte, exchanging hand-written vows and arranging for a McDonald’s food truck to serve chicken nuggets and French fries at 1 AM. Now with little Becks to join their fun-filled journey, things just got merrier for the Wallace household.

With the NASCAR lawsuit guaranteeing chartered spots to 23XI Racing and his adorable son to brighten the day, Bubba Wallace is having the time of his life. He posted a beautiful picture on Instagram, a selfie featuring himself and his little bundle of joy nestled in his lap. Wallace’s caption summed up his giddy emotions at present: “When everything is right in life ☺️”

What’s your perspective on:

Can Bubba Wallace balance fatherhood and racing, or will one take the backseat?

Have an interesting take?

This hunky-dory situation has its roots in Bubba Wallace and Amanda Carter’s first meeting. Their relationship goes back to high school – although they did not date at the time, Wallace and Carter stayed in touch even after graduating. “It’s special,” Carter said in 2023. “We still reminisce or talk about things from the past. We just know so much about each other’s lives from so long ago.” Now a little one is here to add to that special bond. Wallace gushed with pride when the little one arrived over two months ago: “We were blessed with his presence Sunday 9/29☺️ 9 months of waiting on this little guy, he’s made it all worth it! So excited for this journey!”

Fans and colleagues are also pouring wishes on Bubba Wallace’s new fatherly venture.

Starting a journey of parenthood is a happy venture indeed. When NASCAR couples do so, they have an army of gearheads and motorsports fans there to support them. So when Bubba Wallace and Amanda Carter started their quest for little Becks Hayden, wishes poured forth from the wider racing community. Now as Wallace beams with pride with his son, fans are also overjoyed. “Like father like son👏❤️,” someone wrote. Somebody else did not write anything, but showed their overwhelmed response with love emojis: “😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️” Another fan agreed with Wallace’s saturated feeling upon becoming a father: “This is everything as a father!”

Wallace’s NASCAR colleagues also dropped by for a quick hilarious comment. Daniel Suarez competes with Wallace in the Cup Series, driving the No. 99 Chevrolet for Trackhouse Racing. Delivering a quick jibe at his Cup rival, Suarez marveled at the little baby’s gorgeous looks. At the same time, he could not believe that this was Wallace’s son. “You sure is yours!? He’s good looking 😅”

Of course, racing runs in the Wallace family’s genes. Bubba Wallace has driven the No. 23 Toyota for 23XI Racing since 2022, with remarkable results. He cracked the playoffs last year with 10 top-tens and 5 top-fives. This year, he improved his results, securing 14 top-tens and 6 top-fives. So fans are right to assume that his little guy will wish to fill Daddy’s shoes soon. “Can he reach the pedals yet?” It’s barely been three months since his arrival on planet Earth, and baby Becks is already looking bigger. So another fan added a touch of optimism: “He’s growing too fast. He’ll be wanting to drive soon.”
