NASCAR is a growing sport, with a lot of potential for making money. How does one ascertain that? Simply observe the way the ownership table has been diversifying and growing. From retired drivers (or people with some background in racing), NASCAR now has Michael Jordan, Pitbull, and Floyd Mayweather with stakes in teams.
Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin entered the Cup Series fore with their 23XI Racing. The team has had a relatively good time, and won a few races since their debut in 2021.

Trackhouse Racing, owned by Pitbull and Justin Marks, on the other hand, has had quite a few wonderful moments since its debut in 2021. In just their 2nd season, the team had an entry in the final 4 with Ross Chastain. Chastain also ingrained himself and the team in history with his Hail Melon move in Martinsville.
The Money Team Racing are making moves
Floyd Mayweather and The Money Team Racing are, in comparison, very inexperienced. The team has only run 4 races in the Cup Series since joining at the beginning of last season.
But as per the latest news, they are seeking to step up their performances in the competition. Austin Konenski reported that the team is looking to bring on board 4-time Indianapolis 500 winner, Helio Castroneves, to the team for 2023.
Bob Pockrass had also reported the same news earlier for the $40 million man on SiriusXM Radio. He said, “There’s a good chance (Helio Castroneves) ends up at (The Money Team Racing)…not sure that (Trackhouse Racing) really wants to do a third car for the Daytona 500. We’ll see if they can convince them to do that.”

Fans had expected Trackhouse Racing to snap up Castroneves for their Project 91 car, prior to these recent developments. They were not pleased to hear about the coup.
Essentially he’ll run the first 20 laps and then either be getting lapped every 5 laps or be off the track altogether. Unfortunate for such a great driver. https://t.co/25vyp5wltQ

WHAT, I’m shocked, TRACKHOUSE IS RIGHT THERE

This actually sucks. Anything less than the Project 91 car is a disservice to both Helio and the fans who want to see him actually run well.

Not a W because we all want him in the Project 91 car

So he will be in the worse car in the field 😂
