“For those who dare to dream, there is a whole world to win.” These lines have certainly been true for plenty of NASCAR drivers. One of the most recent examples is that of Josh Berry. After years of struggle, he will finally be seen as a full-time NASCAR Cup Series driver next season onwards. Citing such examples, a Hollywood actor-turned-driver has expressed his own ambitions in the sport.

The motorsports world has occasionally seen a few actors turn into racers in the past few decades. Talking of the present, one of them has been exceeding expectations in the sport, and his latest desire has left the fans excited. Not only that, it has also led to some unimaginable predictions.

It is certainly no child’s play to achieve success in NASCAR. It only gets more difficult coming from a non-racing background. However, a Hollywood actor has been quite impressive with his work behind the wheel. This has only helped him get more confident and opt for bigger challenges.

The concerned actor/racer is none other than Frankie Muniz. The former Malcolm in the Middle star has been doing exceptionally well in the ARCA Menards Series this year. With five top-ten finishes in seven races, Muniz looks to be in good touch. In fact, it has helped him to be very hopeful about what he aims to do in the future.

As per CelebrityNetWorth, Muniz has a net worth of approximately $30 million. While he has the financial power to skip through the different levels of racing in NASCAR, the 37-year-old opts to follow the natural course needed to achieve success. However, he has a strong message for all his competitors in the upper division of the sport.

Speaking to Jayski recently, Muniz said, “Maybe they don’t see me as a threat yet, but I’m coming. This isn’t a fluke.” While he understands the difficulty in achieving it, he remains optimistic about his chances. He said, “I know it’s a very lofty goal for me to set, but I want to race in the Cup Series.”

Following this, he clearly expressed his plans. The New Jersey native said, “I’m pretty sure every driver probably says that, but I really do. I’m 37 years old, and I’m getting into the sport of stock car racing. I definitely plan on moving up, and the plan is to move up to Xfinity or the Truck Series next year.”

Clearly, Muniz is a fan favorite. Having been in their minds and hearts with his acting skills earlier, he is adored by many. Unsurprisingly, his latest revelation impressed several enthusiasts. Muniz’s stature easily could have helped him land more sponsors and an unexpected upgrade in NASCAR racing. However, his choice to progress advance in traditional fashion has won plenty of hearts.

Despite this, fans on Reddit are divided on what could or should happen with Muniz’s future. Many predicted and were hopeful that he could land a place in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. One of them said, “Being in the middle national series would just feel right. I hope he does go to Xfinity though. Trucks are pretty awful anymore, feel like you have a better chance to put together races, gain track time, and showcase talent in Xfinity now.”

Another one spoke on similar lines. He said, “Hopefully a Xfinity team takes an interest in him. Muniz should avoid the truck series like the plague.” In fact, one fan was quite specific about how he could join the Xfinity Series. He said, “Muniz to JRM to replace Berry. YALL HEARD IT HERE FIRST.”

On the other hand, some fans got too optimistic with their predictions. While one said, “I’ve heard that Front Row is a real possibility”, another fan said, “Before you know it he’ll be in cup driving a rick ware.”

It is very likely that Muniz will attract more options should he continue with the form he’s currently in. Having said that, it would be interesting to see which team makes the first move.
