He said, “I didn’t think that it would be something, you know, this big. You know, at the time when I wasn’t tryin to be real crazy about it just, you know, I disagree to it.”

“I didn’t think that it would be something, you know, this big…You know, I disagree to it. It is a rule, but every action has a reaction, right?” he said. He disagreed with the decision to park the car, which he found “upsetting for, you know, myself, my sponsors, you know, my DGM,” but stated that he didn’t regret his actions.

Williams, who has a lot of passion for the sport, also said that he didn’t plan to repeat his actions and that he did what he did because it was his way of voicing his opinion. “I mean that not something that’s, you know, just be a reoccurring thing, you know, if there’s an issue just… you know… they make it seem like that but, you know, hopefully we’re not in that position again, you know, if we are its… you know, it is what it is.” said Williams.
