Earlier, a video clip from a go-kart race went viral on social media, and NASCAR fans noticed it. As it turned out, two people were racing when one of them collided with the other, forcing them to cut the track. Naturally, the driver who was hit was furious and later T-boned his opponent, knocking them out of the race. Not done with meting out some justice, he got up and began punching the other driver, despite the latter’s pleas that it was an accident.

Some fans reacted to the incident and a few even had callbacks to some well-known hothead NASCAR drivers. Chief among them were Kyle Busch, Tony Stewart, and Jimmy Spencer. Busch is actually well-documented to be a driver with quite a temper. In fact, he has been embroiled in his fair share of brawls, and some were a bit bloody. Even the likes of Tony Stewart had their fair share of scraps.

What else did NASCAR fans say about the ugly incident?

Some people joked about the incident, likening the aggressive driver to acting like he rage quit a Mario Kart game. However, for many people, the jokes ended when the first driver began brutally assaulting the other driver. In fact, his punches even broke his opponent’s helmet visor.

If one had to analyze the incident, the second driver entered the corner a little too quickly. So, he went wide and happened to collide with the first driver, who had a camera on board with him. All in all, the conclusion was that the first contact was far from malicious. However, the retaliation was definitely deliberate.

Especially since the camera-wielding driver cut across the grass just to T-bone his rival. Additionally, the physical assault was pretty much uncalled for. Considering that the opposing driver was pleading that it was an accident, it paints the first driver in a bad light.
