Kenny Wallace has sure been around for a long time in racing. Be it as a racer, a broadcaster, or a YouTuber, the 60-year-old has kept himself relevant with the fans in a big way. Wallace retired from NASCAR competitions back in 2015, but not from racing as a whole. The veteran has raced in several races and competitions since his NASCAR farewell, and some of them have been notable events. In a recent video, The Hermanator invoked Ken Schrader to explain why he has yet to hang up his boots.

One of the biggest races Wallace participated in recently was thanks to Dale Earnhardt Jr. At 60, he made his debut in Junior’s CARS Tour at the South Boston Speedway earlier this year. He might not have won the event, but The Hermenator put up a commendable performance.

A lot of people, including Kenny Wallace himself, believed that the CARS Tour race would be the final story of his illustrious racing career, but his participation in the Gateway Dirt Nationals suggests otherwise. Well, it turns out that the veteran is here to stay. The CARS Tour debut was a dream come true for him, and if his recent comments are to be believed, he is far from taking his hands off the steering wheel for good.

“Earlier today, I was on social media, somebody said, “Hey Wallace, I thought you was quitting racing.” I said to them, I said listen, I am as surprised as you are that I’m still racing, going over 60 years old. Schrader says it best, baby. The sport will tell you when you’re done; I guess I’m not done,” he said to the delight of fans.

Throughout his career, Kenny Wallace has bagged several honors. Multiple wins in NASCAR-sanctioned competitions and others have defined his career. It seems like The Hermanator is out to add more feathers to his cap as he looks to further extend his time in motor racing.
