Currently, the biggest question in NASCAR is about the fate of Kyle Busch. With the departure of M&M’s, he is desperately hunting for a primary sponsor.

Now, the driver has his own business, Rowdy Energy. So, one has to wonder, why can’t he get Rowdy Energy to be his primary sponsor for 2023?

Unfortunately, Busch has admitted that it is a lot more complicated than that.

What else did Kyle Busch say about his contract situation?

Busch confessed that he always believed that he would be in the Cup Series for the long term. So, he and Joe Gibbs Racing never anticipated such a scenario unfolding.

He always figured that he and the team would have a chance to build on their relationship and they would continue their success.

He continued, “We would find out in seven or eight years whether or not it would be something that would be sustainable for this opportunity that’s here now early to then have that supportive, right or support Brexton or whatever going forward, but it’s way too early for that. So unfortunately, that doesn’t exist.”

Now, he is stuck in this unfortunate situation where his career is in jeopardy. Obviously, he and Joe Gibbs Racing are still keen on reuniting for the 2023 season and beyond.
