Over the last few years, former NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr’s show, the Dale Jr. Download has hosted some of the biggest, some of the most important, and some of the most understated names in motorsports. But most of his guests have been and continue to be athletes, retired and active.

However, should the opportunity present itself, Dale Jr. is willing to cross the boundary of motorsports and athletes, and step into the world of entertainers.

In a recent episode of the Ask Jr. segment of the show, one fan quizzed the NASCAR Hall of Famer as to which musician he’d love to have on his show as a guest to which co-host Mike Davis went, “He said he wanted that Summer of 69…Bryan Adams!”

Earnhardt Jr. also joined in, as he said, “I’ve always loved his music. Who doesn’t like Summer of 69?”

He then explained if Adams were to come on the show, the things he’d ask him or talk to him about.

“I really don’t wanna ask Bryan (Adams) anything other than, ‘Take us back,’ to when that was happening to you and your life,” he said. “I think it’d be cool to have someone who (has) experienced highs and lows and reinventing yourself.”

“How do you disappear and then come back?”
