Earlier, the NASCAR Xfinity Series at the Martinsville Speedway wrapped up. John Hunter Nemechek was the one who won, ahead of Sammy Smith and Cole Custer. The former Kyle Busch Motorsports driver was fairly dominant during the race, taking just five laps to snatch the lead. From there, he lead an astounding 198 laps and romped to victory. However, it appeared that he pushed so hard that his tires were absolutely destroyed. To the point where his tires caught fire during his post-race celebratory burnout.

Naturally, the car was absolutely wrecked, but at least he won the race before the inferno. Before long, many NASCAR fans reacted to the flaming scene. A lot of them were thrilled to see Nemechek win and hoped to see him graduate to the Cup Series in the future. A fan said on social media, “Get this guy a top tier cup ride next year”, and another commented on the fiery scene, “It’s getting hot in here.”
