With the first Xfinity Series Playoff race kicking off this weekend, the battle will be on. Among the 12 contenders is Harrison Burton, who has yet to win a race this season. This could be a bit problematic, considering that he is lying just above the bubble in 8th place. It also does not help that everything in the points standings has been neutralized.
Recently, the driver spoke about how he feels about missing out on Victory Lane. He said, “Obviously, there’s a big kind of frustration with myself is that we haven’t won. For me, that’s frustrating, I feel like we should have won multiple races by now. We’ve run good enough to win multiple races by now. So not coming through to win those races, is frustrating.”
However, he did admit that while they had the speed and confidence, there’s no better time than the Playoffs to start. Harrison Burton is fairly confident because he and his team have done well in the past few races. However, he did confess that he struggled a bit at the Bristol Motor Speedway.

The 20-year-old revealed that in the buildup to the Bristol race, he was in good form. Even at Bristol itself, he had some fairly good pace, so he is quite confident in his abilities. Burton acknowledged that the opening round is a big challenge and every other driver is aware of it. This is why he insisted that it is important for him and the Joe Gibbs Racing team to be off to a good start.
Harrison Burton also admitted that going for wins and gunning for big points could make a huge difference. He also revealed that in 2020, he had a decent stint at Las Vegas. However, he negated it with a crash at Daytona and had a bad run at the Roval.

At the end of the day, the idea is to get a good run and execute a solid plan at all three races. According to him, there could be a massive risk in trying to play it safe on the track, and everyone will aim to be aggressive.
