In a nostalgic video, Denny Hamlin, Josh Jones, Tony Stewart, and Mike Davis sat down to reminisce about Kevin Harvick’s prankster era. The video showcased various humorous incidents, including Harvick breaking his KHI Vice President’s phone and pulling off practical jokes in the garage.

One memorable incident involved Denny Hamlin during a pie-throwing contest. After the contest was over, Hamlin playfully threw a pie at Harvick, who, in return, gave him a taste of his own medicine. Hamlin jokingly referred to it as,

“That was assault by the way”

Denny Hamlin explained the whole story and started, “We were doing a pie contest like a throwing contest, and I think he took offense to one of the pies that I got him pretty good on, it was after the horn had sounded to stop. So the way he saw it, that this was, you know, kind of off-limits times and I kind of broke protocol there.”

Later, while Kevin was cleaning his suit, other drivers, including Hamlin, couldn’t help but laugh at him. Seizing the opportunity for revenge, Harvick hatched a plan with his team KHI’s VP, Josh Jones, during a plane ride to New Hampshire. He asked Jones to get a pie with lots of creams and store it in the refrigerator.

“Kevin comes in blindsides me and essentially punches me in the face with a pie,” Hamlin said.

Denny continued, “He got me good with that pie certainly, it was a situation where he creamed intensity level up quite a bit more, he’s going to make sure he got the good end of that exchange”
