Generosity comes naturally to most, and with the income that current-day NASCAR drivers generate, they tend to share it with others. But at the end of the day, it’s a choice; they won’t get prizes or penalties for their generosity or the lack thereof. Bubba Wallace is one who chooses to be generous.

Bubba Wallace is a millionaire, boasting a $3 million net worth. While that may not be pocket change for most people around, that amount puts him somewhere in the mid-range when compared to the other wealthy drivers in NASCAR. Yet he has always been a giver; someone who genuinely enjoys sharing the fruits of his hard work with those who don’t have the same privileges or facilities as he does. He has been doing that for a long, long time.

Bubba Wallace spreading holiday cheer

Talking with WCNC about his Christmas drive, the 23XI Racing driver said, “Yeah this is our third annual Live To Be Different Christmas toy drive. I keep telling my sister who’s kind of overseeing the whole foundation ‘bigger and better, every year.’ Something we started out at 75 families in the first year, 150 [families] in the last year. Now we’re up to 300.”

He added, “And I think the moment that gets me is when you’re packing up all the bags, kind of the night before and the trailer’s slammed full. All these bags—majority of them are gone now—so its just awesome to be able to give back, especially in the holiday season.

“I know a lot of people are still being affected by COVID, and some other issues that are going on. So we’re here to help out with a helping hand, and be able to give back for the holiday season.”
