“That Means Underwear” – Danica Patrick Insults F1 Community’s Confusing Lingo

Danica Patrick was a part of the 2022 Formula 1 US Grand Prix. In fact, she even got to interview Max Verstappen after the race, which didn’t go so well. But the overall experience surely was fun. Well, except maybe on the cultural barrier.

Patrick added more heat to the long-standing debate on European and American names!

The former racing driver recently posted a story with motorsports journalist, Jenna Fryer. And Fryer put the former driver on her story as she captioned the post, “@danicapatrick is hot and I need a blowout”. She responded by reposting that story saying, “But you have fab trousers! I can’t say pants to F1, that means underwear!”

This is a hilarious exchange. And much like the Chips versus Fries conversation, Europeans usually call underwear ‘pants’. On the other hand, for Americans, pants mean any clothing item on the lower part of your body. If you’re American, you could get in a lot of trouble if you complimented a European’s pants.

Patrick sure doesn’t miss a chance to joke about them. But clearly, US GP was an enriching experience for the driver. But did you know she had another incredible experience earlier this year where she almost got naked?

Danica Patrick almost got naked!

The Burning Man festival has gained quite a bit of traction. And this time, Patrick wanted to experience it, too! And she did exactly that. But she talks about one specific camp which almost got her naked.

She revealed, “If you wanna be naked, you’re naked. Like, there’s this one thing called the ‘human carwash’. Dr. Bronner’s is this company that has a camp and so that’s who puts it on and you wait in line, and you and you get in and almost everyone goes completely naked.”

She added, “You get hosed down. with the soap then I think that you can I think there’s help? possibly? I’m not sure. I didn’t do it I was almost gonna do it. But it was a whiteout the last day that they were open and then you get rinsed off and then there’s a dance floor down below, where you dry on.”
