The world of NASCAR is all geared up and excited for the season to start. With Daytona 500 beginning in February, there is a lot of buzz about the drivers racing. And the one name emerging is that of stunt performer and racing superstar Travis Pastrana.

Recently 23XI Racing, Michael Jordan’s NASCAR team with Daytona International Speedway posted a video on their various social media platforms. The video does not directly reveal who the racer is, but drops quite a lot of hints for everyone to speculate. The video was posted with the caption “Three is a magic number” hinting at a third car for the iconic Daytona 500 this year.

Some Instagram users shared their excitement by saying “hmmm I know that guy, Let’s go!!”, “Don’t tell me this is Travis Pastrana…” while one other said, “Travis Pastrana in the Daytona 500. I ain’t wrong,” and “Hell yessss!! I want Travis full time in NASCAR.” One fan called him a legend and wrote, “Looks like Travis Pastrana, Legend!”

Some fans guessed who it could be on the Twitter post of 23XI Racing. 

As per speculations, it is expected that Travis Pastrana will be competing to qualify for it. He is a veteran with massive experience in racing at different tracks. Though he has never run in a NASCAR Cup Series race despite running a full Xfinity Series season in 2013. Pastrana made two starts during the 2020 Gander RV, finishing 22nd and the Truck Series season, finishing 21st at Las Vegas for Niece Motorsports.

The well-known former Red Bull driver Travis Pastrana would be racing in the Daytona 500 season opener with Michael Jordan‘s NASCAR team, 23XI Racing. The Nitro Circus fame Pastrana is always looking to push the limits and will be making his debut in the Cup Series.

The legendary motocross champion will be a teammate to Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick, but he will have to earn one of the four Open qualifying spots in the Daytona 500 field available to non-charter cars. Entering its third this year, the 23XI Team has won three races in its first two seasons. Other drivers expected in the race to qualify for the Daytona 500  include Jimmie Johnson for Legacy Motor Club, Austin Hill for Beard Motorsports, and Zane Smith for Front Row Motorsports.
