When Kaulig Racing opened its doors in 2016, Rice was named General Manager, eventually becoming Team President in 2018. However, Kaulig Racing‘s president recently shared glimpses of his physical transformation. In a social media post, he revealed his old and new pictures showcasing an incredible weight loss journey. With the picture, Rice also shared a strong motivational message for his fans. “I don’t have many words other than…… Hard work pays off!! Take care of yourself, please!!!!! Smile it’s good for you!!” he wrote on Twitter.

Rice’s journey has resonated with NASCAR fans as they were quick to praise him for his hard work. A Twitter user said, “That is awesome! Impressive work! Provides motivation! Keep it off and keep it up!” This comment highlights the connection Rice has built with NASCAR fans as a team president.

Despite being one of the youngest teams in the sport, joining the Cup series full-time in 2022, Kaulig Racing has been more competitive than most. They have notched up 2 wins and 41 top-10 finishes in 235 races as a team so far. As they gear up for their 10th season in NASCAR it has made significant changes to stay competitive. The 2025 season will mark the team’s fourth full-time campaign in the Cup Series, with a refreshed driver lineup and renewed ambitions. After running just one full-time driver, Daniel Hemric, and a bunch of part-time drivers in 2024, Kaulig has shifted to two full-time entries to boost their roster.

AJ Allmendinger returns to the No. 16 Chevrolet in the Cup Series. Known for his stellar Xfinity Series performances, including a Championship 4 appearance in 2024, Allmendinger aims to translate his success to the Cup level. His focus will be on achieving consistency across all tracks, but especially on road courses, where he has an impeccable record of three wins and 22 top-10 finishes in the Cup Series. He will especially be keen to make a mark on the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez road course in Mexico City which will make its NASCAR debut this year as the first international points-paying race.

Joining him in the Cup Series is Ty Dillon, who will pilot the No. 10 Chevrolet. After a challenging 2024 season in the Truck Series, Dillon sees this as his best opportunity to make a mark in the premier series. His experience and determination could be the key to elevating Kaulig Racing’s performance in 2025. These changes go hand in hand with the physical transformation by Chris Rice, highlighting a new era for Kaulig Racing.

One fan wrote, “Looking great Chris! Inspiring both of us! It’s a slow process, but we keep on smiling!” Another user echoed the sentiments as he said, “Good for you! Taking care of yourself ain’t easy! You have put in the work! Congratulations.” These comments capture the shared struggle many face on their fitness journeys.

Rice’s story serves as a reminder that progress, no matter how slow, is worth celebrating. Notably, once seven-time Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson had revealed his fitness journey. “When you commit to fitness, it’s a job,” Johnson had told his fans, emphasizing the dedication it takes to be as successful as he did.

Meanwhile, some fans hilariously took a dig at his journey. One fan wrote, “Gotta be in good shape if you want to carry your winning drivers around lol. You’re a good role model. Keep it up, Chris!” It’s worth noting that Kaulig Racing has been very inconsistent with their driver line-up since joining the NASCAR Cup Series. In 2024, they fielded six different drivers across the season, with prominent names like Shane van Gisbergen, A.J. Allmendinger, and Daniel Hemric being the stand-out drivers.
