Broadcasting in NASCAR has been an issue for quite some time. The insiders and outsiders of the NASCAR community have raised their voice several times over the lack of good race coverage, of which one example was on display in the recent race at WWT Raceway as FOX Sports broadcast cut to Samantha Busch, the wife of Kyle Busch in a pivotal moment in the race.
In fact, to call the moment pivotal would be quite an understatement because when FOX cut to Samantha Busch cheering on her husband, her husband was in a door-to-door battle with Joey Logano in the very final seconds of the race.

Naturally, this led to a slew of criticism against FOX from the NASCAR fanbase who made their point of not wanting to see someone cheering the driver in a tight battle in place of actually seeing the driver in a tight battle.

Kyle Busch names his biggest frustration with the Next Gen car
Ahead of the race at WWT Raceway, Kyle Busch opened up on his biggest frustrations with the Next Gen car and the parts where it failed to deliver the expected results.
“This car is worse in traffic than the previous car. I feel like all the underbody stuff is not at all what we anticipated it to be. Cars drive fine, they’re good. The pleasant part of it is they drive good by themselves if you have full air,” said Busch.
“But if..what we’re striving to do was better traffic, cars in traffic, we did not do that.”

As for how to fix the problem, Kyle Busch doesn’t know. Although he is looking forward to the upcoming test in Martinsville where he’s hoping NASCAR will take his suggestion that could help drivers and owners alike.
“I’ve been highly politicking to just let us take all the underbody off and let us go make a couple of runs with that and see what we can figure out with that,” he added.
