Harrison’s is a family-owned clothing and footwear chain based out of Spartanburg, South Carolina. They have been sponsoring Berry since the 2022 season when he was starting his first full season in the Xfinity Series. Out of the five wins Berry has had in his Xfinity Series career two of those were with Harrion’s as his primary sponsors. Given how both parties have brought the best out of each other, Berry has now set his targets in the NASCAR Cup Series.

While Berry will look to stay focused on achieving his target behind the wheel, his partner Harrison’s is also keen to contribute towards the success of the 33-year-old. Danny Harison the founder and President at Harrison’s said, “We’ve gotten to know Josh as a person and as a racer ever since he started winning Late Model races across the Southeast. We enjoyed immediate success together and have been a part of many of his career milestones. We’re very happy to continue our partnership with Josh at Stewart-Haas as he competes for the rookie-of-the-year title.”

Berry also acknowledged the constant support from his current partners over the years and expressed his gratitude for the continued support now in his Cup Series pursuits. As per the team’s official website, he saidAfter racing against other Late Models with the Harrison’s name on them, it was an honor to represent Harrison’s in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. We were able to win in our first year together. The Harrison family believed in me then and it’s incredibly heartwarming to have their continued support now at Stewart-Haas.”

The Tennessee native knows about the success of the No.4 SHR car in the Cup Series. Kevin Harvick in his debut with the team managed to help them reach the pinnacle of NASCAR as they won the 2014 Cup Series championships. However, the times have now changed and SHR is in deep waters looking for a resurgence and a strong comeback. On the back of a winless 2023 season, SHR will be now banking on Josh Berry to propel the team to the heights they once reigned but it will certainly not be an easy task.

Berry sure comes on with a good resume with a dominant run in the CARS Tour being the winningest driver. He also has two top-10 finishes during his limited time with Hendrick Motorsports in the Cup Series. Not to forget his impressive run in the Xfinity Series where he finished 4th in points standings with three wins during the 2022 season. So he has all the credentials to compete with the best of the best but will be able to guide SHR to the long-lost glory?
