The racing world witnessed a major update on Monday evening when the news of Tony Stewart’s All-Star Circuit of Champions or ASCoC as it is popularly called broke the internet. Owned by the 3-time champion after he acquired it in 2015, the racing series made the headlines after the NASCAR great passed the torch down to Kyle Larson who along with his business partner took over the 410 Sprint car racing extravaganza last day.
Stewart loves racing, especially racing in the good old dirt lanes, and so does the HMS driver. In fact, the two drivers share similar interests when it comes to racing, simply put, they both eat, breathe, and live for the sport. With Larson’s co-owned High Limit Racing shaking up things and taking over the operations, the sprint car champion and renowned 410 racing expert extended his heartfelt gratitude to “Smoke” for his indispensable efforts to uplift the sport.

Dirt racing and Sprint car racing have a deep-rooted history in the American racing scene as we know it. Over the years, it has produced many living legends who later went on to become one of the best racers in their fields including the 3-time Cup Series champion, Tony Stewart, and 2021 Cup Series champion, Kyle Larson.
It is in these dirt racing series where future NASCAR champions learn the fundamentals of race craft, acquiring the basic driver instinct that remains in them throughout their careers. And Stewart is a perfect example of this. Even after his time off the dirt track, the veteran knew of its value and dedicated a major chunk of his attention and time, to nurture and preserve it for future generations.
On Monday, the news about Stewart’s series being hand-over to High Limit Racing made it into the headlines as Larson and his 4-time World of Outlaws champion partner decided to make it happen, acquiring the second-tier Sprint car tour in the country. Reacting to the massive update, renowned Sprint car racer and 5-time Knoxville champion, Brian Brown conveyed his appreciation for Stewart in a humble tweet that also caught the attention of the racing community.

In many ways, fans relate Kyle Larson to Tony Stewart. Larson’s zeal for dirt, Sprint racing, and the skill he possesses has the community relating the HMS driver to the great 3-time champion, Stewart. The SHR co-owner grew the All-Star format, expanding its footprint across the country, and luring in enthusiasts and fans alike.
According to Floracing, who has partnered with the series since 2020 to showcase the rich Sprint racing pedigree of Sprint racing, Larson said, “Sprint Car racing is in a better place today because of the contributions Tony has made, including his ownership of the All Stars.” He further thanked the veteran for his contributions, mentioning how he inspired him and his partner to embark on this new journey.
“His commitment to giving back to the sport has been an inspiration to me, personally. Brad and I share his passion for making the business side of the sport better for teams, drivers and sponsors and we’re thankful for Tony’s trust in us to carry on what he started,” said the 31-year-old.
