Kyle Busch found his future in Richard Childress Racing after a well-documented divorce from Joe Gibbs Racing. But that big move also involved him leaving the Toyota family, and working with a completely new manufacturer. Of course that puts a massive question mark on Kyle Busch Motorsports’ future.
Will Chevrolet make their trucks? Will he get a new sponsor? Who will drive for him?

KBM has been sponsored by Toyota Racing Development ever since it was born. But after the big switch to Chevrolet, obviously, they wouldn’t be backing the team anymore. But although we can expect the manufacturer of the trucks to change, who will drive for them? Because, John Hunter Nemechek, Corey Haim, and Chandler Smith are all Toyota drivers.
So, if they want to continue driving for KBM, they will have to leave Toyota. What will be KBM’s future? Well, according to a recent announcement, we could find out soon.
The team Tweeted, “2023 ANNOUNCEMENT
KYLE BUSCH MOTORSPORTS WILL ANNOUNCE ITS PLANS FOR THE 2023 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN TRUCK SERIES FRIDAY, NOV. 4, AT 5:15 P.M. ET. INSIDE THE MEDIA CENTER AT PHOENIX RACEWAY.”
Plenty of fans speculated and gave their ideal lineup for the next year.
I would love to see KBM look like this:
#3 – Austin Dillon (5), Ty Dillon (5), Jeffrey Earnhardt (10)
#4 – Rajah Caruth
#8 – Kaz Grala
#51 – Kyle Busch (5), Austin Hill (3), Sheldon Creed (2), Chandler Smith (5), Nick Sanchez (8)

18- Carson Hoceavar
51- Multiple Drivers— Fascar18 (7-0) UNDEFEATED (@JeffersQuentin) November 2, 2022
My bet
4- Nick Sanchez
8- Chase Purdy (sadly)
51- Primary Rajah Caruth, doing the approx amount of races heim did this year.

Curious. Now I couldn't honestly care less about Kyle BUT. Since he'll be driving for a completely different manufacturer in Cup. Does that mean he has to switch manufacturers for his team? And are they partnered with his soon to be former team?

I’ll guess Nick Sanchez in the 18, Jeb Burton in the 4, and Rajah in the 51 part time.

4 – Jack Wood
51 – Kyle Busch/Alex Bowman/Austin Hill/Rev ARCA/etc
54 – Nick Schantz— 5395racing (@5395racing) November 2, 2022
2 – Kaz Grala
8 – Carson Hoceavar

When Busch announced his move to RCR, Jim Campbell, Chevrolet U.S. Vice President, Performance and Motorsports talked about his return to team Chevrolet. But could it mean his overall return to Chevrolet? Along with his Truck Series team?
“We’d like to welcome Kyle back to Team Chevy, where he started his NASCAR career,” said Jim Campbell, “As a 60 Cup race winner and two-time champion, he will be a valuable addition to Richard Childress Racing and the Chevrolet line-up. We look forward to working with Kyle starting in 2023.”
