Denny Hamlin and his longtime girlfriend, Jordan Fish, have had a tumultuous relationship, to say the least. Despite having two beautiful daughters who light up their world, the couple went through a rough patch in the year 2021, with rumors of separation making their rounds around the NASCAR nation.
Fans could sense an awkward feeling about the relationship, as Denny Hamlin would often take sly jabs at his former partner when he had the chance. While the JGR driver probably intends it as just his typical fun rant, fans have always speculated about his personal life. Ahead of the Martinsville run, Hamlin has the fans scratching their heads as he treats his estranged partner on her birthday, celebrating it with their kids.
Jordan Fish posted on Instagram stories of the couple posing for a picture while Denny Hamlin reserved a seat in Redrock Birkdale, treating his partner to a birthday cake alongside a customized food menu that made Fish’s big day a lot merrier. She shared a picture that read, “Thank you for making me feel special.”

In his long and illustrious Cup Series career, Denny Hamlin still has one big unfinished business. Despite being on the Cup schedule for more than 18 years, besides the monumental wins and controversies, the veteran is yet to claim a title. This has destroyed the 42-year-old’s credibility, casting doubt on his ability as haters named him NASCAR’s choker.
However, Denny Hamlin has made it into the playoffs pretty well this season. Unlike last year, where he got “Hail Melon”-ed by Ross Chastain in Martinsville, 2023 so far has been a successful campaign for the JGR driver. But misfortune did the driver dirty on several occasions, including the past race in Miami, where his stunt with Ryan Blaney eventually got him off the tracks.

Despite the setbacks, the 42-year-old isn’t taking a step back. Instead, he is going full steam ahead. The driver on his popular Action Detrimental podcast said he wouldn’t give up. He said, “I’m gonna just keep trying. I’m not gonna let anything get me down on it. I feel like I’m putting my best effort forward every single week, I feel as good about our chances every single week as I’ve ever been. I do. I feel like every single week we can win. Not many teams can say that and we show up.”
It is good to know that confidence is not a problem for Denny Hamlin. We will have to wait till Sunday to see if it gives him the right result.
