Such is life that certain things, when they happen in the moment, seem right. But a second look, and you realize, it wasn’t right; it wasn’t fair. Such is life, unfair and weird in many cases. Just look at what happened to Corey LaJoie as Hendrick Motorsports decided to take away his pit crew.

Or, to be more precise, their own pit crew.

According to journalist Bob Pockrass, “As Corey LaJoie mentioned on his podcast, most of his Hendrick crew (all but fueler) moved to Bowman car starting this week. LaJoie jackman had been subbing for Larson jackman, who was out after suspension/surgery and then on 7 last week and now back with Larson this week.”

Now this news incited a series of reactions from NASCAR fans that could be best determined as sarcastic, and some outrightly questioning the practice of bigger teams doing as they like with the smaller teams.

Corey LaJoie makes a sensational claim about Kyle Busch’s contract situation

In a recent episode of his podcast, Stacking Pennies, Corey LaJoie made a huge claim about the situation of Kyle Busch at Joe Gibbs Racing. The #18 driver is being rumored, for a few weeks now, to be moving away from JGR and Toyota.

And LaJoie’s revelation only solidified these rumors.

“Well, he’s (Busch) not driving that car next year. I’d hate it for a Kyle Busch fan. He will find a job somewhere. There are certainly some rumors that there are some offers on the table,” LaJoie said.

He described that there are as many as two potential Chevrolet teams, a potential Ford team, and one with Toyota as well.

In the end, there was one thing that the Spire Motorsports driver said quite confidently. Kyle Busch won’t be in the #18 car next year.

I think we’ll see our little buddy (Ty Gibbs) in the 18 next year guys, I swear it is,” he added.
