Kaulig Racing may not be the most competitive of teams in the NASCAR Cup Series, but they sure can shut down their haters on social media. As beverage giants Red Bull recently edged out Kaulig Racing sponsor Celsius in sales, one fan made a rather unsavory comment about the team. However, it did not take long for the motorsports organization to hit back with a savage retort.
In 2023, Kaulig Racing emerged victorious in one Cup Series race. AJ Allmendinger claimed an inspirational victory at the Charlotte Roval to give the team a memorable moment from what was a lackluster season. They had more luck in the NASCAR Xfinity where they won 4 races with 3 different drivers.

As per investment banking firm Stifel’s latest report, beverage giant Red Bull had the edge over competitors like Celsius which resulted in a modest share loss for the latter. Experts believe that the reason for Red Bull’s surge was down to two reasons. One is the introduction of the Winter Edition Pear Cinnamon. The second is the Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Experts are also of the belief that Celsius will recover from the setback in the first quarter of 2024. The reason for this is Red Bull’s market trends. Whenever the Austrian beverage brand comes out with a new product, their sales shoot up for a short period of time before coming back down to normal. That is exactly what happened with the Winter Edition Pear Cinnamon and hence there are no Formula One races in Vegas or anywhere else in the States any time soon, Celsius should hope for some positive news.
However, one fan seems to believe that the reason why Celsius has not been able to match Red Bull’s levels is because of the entities they sponsor in NASCAR. “They sponsor back market drivers and sub-par teams like @CoreyLaJoie and the entire @KauligRacing organization. What do you expect?”
Well, the social media admin of Kaulig Racing was not going to take too kindly to that as they sent out a brutal retort flexing AJ Allmendinger’s victory at the Charlotte Motor Speedway earlier this year. “Sorry couldn’t hear you over sound of our @CelsiusOfficial cars doing victory burnouts,” read the team’s tweet. Now that’s a savage comeback!

The team did only recently announce that Josh Williams will drive for the #11 car in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, but that still leaves a lot of seats empty. Daniel Hemric is the only other person who is confirmed to be in a Kaulig Racing seat. He will be driving the #31 car in the NASCAR Cup Series.
AJ Allmendinger is rumored to be headed back to the Xfinity Series as a full-time driver for the team and the man who has been heavily linked to being his replacement is none other than Ty Dillon. The 31-year-old had a lackluster 2023 Cup Series season with Spire Motorsports. He finished in a lowly 32nd place in points, causing him to lose his fourth ride in as many seasons.
