Kyle Busch’s usual intensity on the track rarely takes a backseat except in special circumstances. Even Rowdy can’t help but make exceptions for his son Brexton. Being a champion driver himself, Busch knows how to enjoy a victory and he knows better how to celebrate it. Known for his fiery competitive spirit, Busch’s wide grin, and the playful prank he pulled on Brexton—dousing him with water after handing over the victory cup after Brexton’s victory in Box Stock racing.

The video of the prank went up on Kyle Busch’s social media and it soon went viral. But what stood out was the father-son bond on full display, but now that Brexton was drenched in water, he knew his time for revenge would come soon. By the looks of it, it seems like the time has come.

Kyle Busch’s son gets his soaking-wet revenge

After Kyle Busch’s playful water dunk on his son, Brexton decided it was time to turn the tables. Brexton Busch wasn’t about to let his dad have all the fun—especially after that water prank in victory lane! During the Lucas Oil-sponsored dirt race tourneys, Brexton took the opportunity to get some sweet revenge on his dad. Brexton Busch took to Instagram to share a hilarious moment of his own—a water-soaked revenge on his dad. In the post, Brexton captioned the video with a cheeky message:

“I got my revenge!! My dad dumped water on me so many times in victory lane this year, and I finally got him back!”

The video shows Brexton, full of mischief, getting the best of his dad after Kyle Busch’s many water tricks throughout the season. But Brexton could not do it alone, as he took help from two of his friends who attacked Rowdy Busch after an interview with Waterbottles.

Fans loved seeing the playful side of their relationship, especially since it was a role reversal of their previous antics. It’s clear that no matter the race, they’ll always have each other’s backs—and a water bottle ready! Brexton’s message was clear: he’s not just following in his dad’s racing footsteps, but he’s also taking the playful side of racing seriously. He’s already finished in the top 5 in several races, including those held at the Millbridge Speedway. If Rowdy decides to call it quits from his Cup Series career, he can work with Brexton to mould him into the ultimate racing champion.

However, this race meant more to the father-son duo as they both managed to win a race in their respective series at Millbridge.

The Busch family celebrates their double win at the Millbridge Speedway

It was a night to remember for the Busch family at Millbridge Speedway in North Carolina, as both Kyle Busch and his son Brexton Busch won dirt racing championships on the same night. He took home the championship in the 600cc Winged class, winning the season-ending race and securing four victories throughout the season.

Not to be outdone, nine-year-old Brexton also captured a championship in the Restricted Micro division that same night. Brexton had another strong showing in the Box Stock division as well, finishing third in points with four wins of his own. Interestingly, the driver who beat Brexton in the final race was Owen Larson, the son of NASCAR star Kyle Larson, showing that the legacy of racing runs deep in both the Busch and Larson families.

With this, it’s clear that the Busch family is not going to part ways from racing. Even after the veteran Kyle Busch retires from racing, there is a strong hope to see Brexton fill in his place in the NASCAR world. Although there is a while to see Brexton in a Cup Series car, many wonder when he will make his NASCAR debut in the Truck Series.
