With the curtains falling on Verizon 200 at the Brickyard, another major news has hit the NASCAR and Indycar shores as Hendrick Motorsports and its ace speedster, Kyle Larson have massive news for racing fans. While the 2021 Cup Series champion got a decent top 10 at the Indy road race last day, the iconic venue also witnessed a big unveil as the HMS driver along with his new partnering team broke the cover.
As odd as it sounds, Larson takes on an easy-going mentality to his ambitious “the double” dream as he puts out some striking remarks about the crown jewel event.

Racing back-to-back in two of the most daring and challenging races on the planet isn’t an easy task even for the most talented drivers. While the great Tony Stewart and Kurt Busch attempted “the double” racing in NASCAR’s Coca-Cola 600 and heading to Indy500, Larson is the latest in the list as the HMS ace driver attempts his dream to conquer both tracks in one day.
Following the Cup Series race last day, Larson along with his boss, Rick Hendrick, and their new partner, Arrow Mclaren engineering head, Gavin Ward unveiled the Chevy-partnered cars which will be piloted by the once-in-a-generation NASCAR driver next year as he takes the shot.
While the trio showcased the new Indy spec car and the HMS Chevy’s new papaya Orange livery, Larson shared his surprised self when asked about the developments, saying, “I mean I think just kind of how easy its all been as far as like going to fit the seat and all that you know, I thought it’d be, I thought it’d be a full day process and it was like an hour you know so we’re really like, so like we are done?”
