The legacy of Denny Hamlin is unquestionable. Drivers of his caliber and talent have been few and far between, and his immaculate CV is clear proof of that. But Hamlin has never been one to rest on his laurels. He partnered with Michael Jordan to diversify his involvement in the sport in 2020. In 2023, he has taken another step to venture further.
In 2020, Hamlin decided to team up with Michael Jordan to start 23XI Racing. The young team made its debut in the Cup Series in 2021 and has since been making slow but steady progress. It has talented drivers on its books in the form of Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick, both of whom will be racing to bring glory to the team in 2023. Additionally, there have been reports that they will be fielding Travis Pastrana at Daytona 500 this year.

2023 is overall going to be a very important year for the team. With Wallace’s best-ever finish coming last season, there’ll be pressure on him to perform. The least he’ll be expected to do is make the Playoffs. Furthermore, buying out the remainder of Reddick’s contract from RCR is expected to give the team an added boost. Hamlin and Jordan will have their eyes glued to the performances of their drivers. Hopefully, their investment will give substantial returns in 2023.
NASCAR fans welcome the Denny Hamlin update
Hamlin’s career was largely made behind the steering wheel, having entered the Cup Series in 2005. In the 18 years since, he has been a force to reckon with, bringing in numerous wins for his team, Joe Gibbs Racing.
However, apart from his racing involvements, an update on Hamlin’s newest venture was recently released on social media. Dirty Mo Media shared an intriguing teaser on Twitter. It seems that Hamlin will be joining Dirty Mo Media with a new podcast offering, aptly named Actions Detrimental.

Not really all that surprised, but @dennyhamlin might want to be careful so the fines don’t start rolling in! I’m sure this will be too good to miss!
