During the NASCAR Xfinity race at the Darlington Raceway, there were a number of incidents that took place. Among them was a collision involving Anthony Alfredo and Daniel Hemric. It is safe to say that the latter was not too thrilled at the prospect of being taken out of the race in the opening laps.
Brandon Jones may have won the race, but all the action unfolded around him on the track. Apparently, Alfredo lost control and clipped the wall, and then he careened towards the inside of the track. He went and collected Justin Allgaier, Ryan Sieg, and poor old Hemric was roped in as well.
What did Daniel Hemric say?

Unfortunately, Hemric happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. An incensed Hemric said, “Yeah, I wasn’t sure if his iRacing simulator quit working or what.”

Meanwhile, Brandon Brown was another innocent victim caught in the crossfire. Coming back to Daniel Hemric, his race was heavily compromised, and he ended the race in 37th place.
What has not improved his mood, is the fact that this is the seventh time he has finished lower than 28th in 16 starts.
After the race, he tweeted, “The irony in that is something else. When the original car that carried this paint scheme was number 37. Can’t make this stuff up. Trying to remember there is always a bigger plan in place for all of us, no matter how we feel through short term trials and triumphs.”

Everything kicked off when Alfredo and Justin Allgaier clipped each other after exiting Turn 2 on Lap 2. Alfredo slid up the racetrack and clipped Allgaier, sending both cars into a spin before the former ran wide.
Daniel Hemric in the No. 8 had nowhere to go and was involved in the wreck. Now, all he can do is put this disappointment behind him and look ahead to the next race.
