After the Xfinity Series race at Pocono, co-owner of JR Motorsports, Dale Earnhardt Jr walked into the media center to talk about Ty Gibbs and his racing.
During the press conference, Dale said, “It’s great to see what we saw today at least on my end and I know that we ended up in victory lane and it’s real easy to come in here and say those things when you’re on the good end of it. But we wanted to see progress on our drivers as well and I felt like that he handled it very good and raced hard, they didn’t rough each other up and hopefully, that’s the sign on things to come.”

He was also undoubtedly happy with Noah Gragson as he clenched victory.
Dale Earnhardt Jr can’t wait to broadcast the race at the Chicago street race
Recently NASCAR announced the first of its kind Chicago street race to take place next year. Dale Earnhardt Jr seemed excited with the prospect of having a street race.
Dale took to Twitter to convey his thoughts, “This is awesome news. A new challenge to see the best stock car drivers in the world tackle. A great market. Pretty cool how iRacing was used to test the idea as well. Can’t wait to broadcast the first race there!”

The Chicago street race is going to be the first time NASCAR will feature a street-type circuit in the cup series. Previously a virtual race was held on iRacing depicting the track layout.

Dale has been the most vocal person surrounding all things NASCAR over the years with his regular podcasts among other things. We hope to see him next year at Chicago broadcasting the event alongside the likes of Steve Letarte.
