Texas was a rather quiet race for Bubba Wallace. The 23XI Racing driver would’ve hoped for another win, but what he got was another failed power steering. But it wasn’t all bad news for the Kansas winner.

In fact, the positive came out from the negative, something Wallace’s fiancee, Amanda Carter pointed to him, which he subsequently shared with his fans.

Wallace posted a picture of a screenshot from Carter’s chat in which she wrote, “Finally gonna put some work in toward your wedding bod.” The NASCAR driver sarcastically posted it with the caption, “My future wife coming thru with the support… #nopowersteeringprobz.”

Bubba Wallace set to marry Amanda Carter soon

Weeks after Bubba Wallace wraps the 2022 NASCAR season, he would tie the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Amanda Carter.

“The wedding is going to be on New Year’s Eve, and we’re excited about that,” Wallace said in an interview earlier this year. “We were able to go to one wedding on New Year’s Eve and really enjoyed it.”

“We liked New Year’s Eve, because it wasn’t as traditional,” Carter added. “You could have more of a fun time. People can come celebrate us for a little bit, but then we can all celebrate together to bring the New Year in.”

Speaking up about the importance of Carter in his life, Wallace didn’t shy away from opening up and being completely vulnerable. “I’m not sure what I would do without her,” he said.
