“She’s Dancing With Him” – Denny Hamlin’s High School Crush Cruelly Rejected Him To Be With His Best Friend

We all have our stories of rejection back from our high school prom days. He might be a future NASCAR Hall of Famer, but like mortals, Denny Hamlin also faced a heartbreaking rejection during his sophomore year. A few years ago Hamlin sat for an interview, where he candidly shared his story.

Hamlin said, “High school prom, my sophomore year, and there was a girl that I really wanted to take and I kept pressing her and she was just kinda kept putting it off. Finally, I got her to give in, so we got there anyway and you could just tell she really wasn’t that interested…”

“So I see her and she’s with my best friend and she is dancing with him. And I said, hey what’s up? What’s up like, she like, well I’ll be honest with you I really wanted him to ask me for the prom but he didn’t so I just went with like you and so that’s done.”

Who is Denny Hamlin settled with now?

As per reports, Hamlin was in a relationship with his long-time girlfriend, Jordan Fish, with whom he shares two daughters.

However, somewhere around last year, Fish posted a series of Tweets, which supposedly announced their break up. Hamlin never confirmed the reports thereafter. Fish also promptly deactivated her accounts soon after. One of the tweets read, “I have been quiet for too long for far too long… and I have endured things no one person should EVER have to endure and today was no exception. @dennyhamlin I hope everyone will finally see you for the person you truly are.”
