In 2021, Kyle Larson realized his dream of winning the NASCAR Cup Series championship. Naturally, the ecstatic driver celebrated with his team and his family. In light of this, the Hendrick Motorsports star recalled some of his favorite memories from the celebrations. One of them revolved around his two children, Owen and Audrey.
After he won the title at the Phoenix Raceway, Owen got a chance to ride with him to Victory Lane. In addition to that, he also fondly recalled Audrey running around and playing in the confetti. Kyle Larson also had an adorable moment with young Audrey. He confessed, “For the next couple of weeks, instead of calling me the champion, she was calling me the championship.”

Kyle Larson is eager to get going in the 2022 Cup Series
All jokes aside, Larson is aiming to prove that he is not a one-season wonder. He knows that this year’s campaign will be difficult. This is also considering that the Next Gen cars will make it a lot harder since this weekend’s race is the first official one with it. One thing is for sure, Kyle Larson will not give up without a fight.

The #5 driver is already off to a good start, with pole position for the Daytona 500. However, getting pole position is one thing, converting it to win the race is a different matter altogether. Fortunately, Larson is a capable driver and will be aiming to keep up his form from last year.
The big question is, can the 29-year-old strike gold twice? His teammate Chase Elliott won the 2020 crown but failed to defend his title. Obviously, Larson will be under a lot of pressure, so it remains to be seen how he will handle such pressure. Will he endure it and triumph for the second time in a row, or will he crack under pressure? Only time will tell.
