Erik Jones is a young driver, who races for Petty GMS. The 26-year-old has been around the NASCAR circuit for a while now, having started racing with the Truck Series in 2013. In 2014, he found an upgrade, being invited to race in the Xfinity Series for Joe Gibbs Racing.
JGR saw potential in him. The driver had the chance to race for the team for 3 full seasons in the Cup Series, and for 4 years (although intermittently) in the Xfinity Series. But on the personal end, Jones has found more things to be happy about. He proposed to his long-time partner, Holly Shelton, on Christmas Eve – guess what the answer was? “MARRY Christmas!! 😊 You already know I said HELL YEAH!!”
