When away from the race track, a fair number of NASCAR drivers like heading to the golf course to unwind. Bubba Wallace is no different, and he recently took to the green for a friendly game. As it turns out, he was not alone, as his friend Ryan Blaney also joined him on the golf course. Additionally, Jimmie Johnson and Scott McLaughlin also turned up for a NASCAR vs IndyCar game.
Unfortunately, it appeared that Wallace was not having the greatest of games. According to McLaughlins’ Instagram story, one of Wallace’s shot landed in the water. He cheekily captioned the story “Bubba, that thing’s in the drink, mate.”
Apparently, the quartet were playing at the Quail Hollow Country club in Ohio. Sadly, nobody knows who won the friendly tournament, but we can be sure that they had a great time.

At the moment, Johnson and McLaughlin are pretty much in a vacation mood. This is because the 2021 IndyCar season has officially wrapped up. However, Wallace and Blaney still have one race remaining, at the Phoenix Raceway. Fortunately for them, they are not embroiled in the championship battle at the season finale. That headache goes to Denny Hamlin, Martin Truex Jr, Chase Elliott, and Kyle Larson.
However, the Penske and 23XI Racing drivers will want to close out their 2021 campaign on a high note. On the bright side, they are under no pressure from a championship perspective. In other words, Phoenix will likely be a leisurely drive, while the Championship 4 drivers duke it out on the track.
