Kyle and Samantha Busch are well known for their social life as well as their contributions to society. The winningest active driver, along with Samantha Busch, started the ‘Bundle of Joy’ fund to raise money to help out people who need IVF aid. And so far, their fund has granted $1,931,884 to those in need. And through their initiative, more than 100 babies have been born till now. And while recognition is hardly the goal of our NASCAR philanthropists, it cannot hurt!
Samantha was recently overjoyed at being in the white house. But before we get into it, it’s important to understand why Samantha Busch relentlessly works with couples to help them get a child.
The story started back in 2010 when Samantha and Kyle tied the knot and were trying to conceive their first child. And it was a struggle. Finally, after IVF treatments, Brexton was born in 2015. And this led them to start the fund and not let others go through the same. The goal was not just to raise money but to remove the whole taboo around infertility. With almost two decades of experience in IVF, there couldn’t have been a better person than Samantha to join policymakers on the matter, thanks to the newly elected House.

She has been vocal on infertility. In fact, Samantha even has a book published by the name, Fighting Infertility: Finding My Inner Warrior Through Trying to Conceive, IVF, and Miscarriage.‘ So you know she’s been through it all. Also, the same year the book was published (2021), the Buschs had their second child, Lennix. This time, even IVF failed, and they opted for a surrogate. And while every couple dreams of having a child, not everyone can. This is where people like Samantha and her fund come in.
Samantha recently shared a post on Instagram with the caption, “Honored to be invited to the White House to meet with the Office of the Domestic Policy Council in support of the President’s Executive Order to make IVF treatments more accessible and more affordable. I was able to provide feedback and input based my personal 10-year experience as a patient, as an advocate, and as the founder of The Bundle of Joy Fund.”
Basically, the whole conversation was about how to make IVF cheap. At the current stage, they are not affordable to most. “We had another constructive conversation surrounding what contributes to the high cost of treatment, the increase in infertility rates, and trends we see amongst our applicants. We will keep having the conversations that matter and use our voice for change,” the caption further read.

The problem is that insurance companies don’t cover IVF. And young couples often have to choose between becoming parents or maybe buying a house. Or any other big monetary decision in their lives. And Samantha has been pretty vocal on this.
She also shared some numbers back in 2021. She had said, “So I’ll give you a few fast facts from FertilityIQ. One round of IVF nationwide is almost $23,000. The average couple will spend nearly $57,000 to bring home a healthy baby, because IVF is not a guarantee and many times it takes multiple rounds to get there.” Surely, the numbers must be much higher now. Still, you get the idea of how expensive IVF treatments can be. And Samantha and Kyle are not the only philanthropists in NASCAR. Dale Earnhardt Jr has an interesting way to raise money for his foundation.
