Being raised in a tight-knit, working-class family in Chicago, Samantha Busch had never imagined that she would become the matriarch of the Kyle Busch empire and have to plan a NASCAR career for two children. And it’s already starting to show results! Young Brexton Busch has already competed for the Golden Driller, and that’s not all! B-Rex even went up against his father! But it’s not just Brexton who’s on the racing path.

Samantha Busch recently revealed her daughter Lennix’s wish to drive against her brother, eventually following his racing journey.

While Brexton Busch has already made a name for himself on the dirt tracks and in the junior racing circuit, it’s Lennix Key Busch who now has her mom’s full attention when it comes to what’s next. Though still just a toddler, Lennix is already showing signs that she may have inherited the same competitive spirit that runs deep in the Busch bloodline.

In a recent interview with Believe in the Good with Haley Dillon, Samantha spoke about Lennix’s racing career and how the prodigy is already showing skills inherited from her father. Just a couple of nights ago, my next one was like, ‘I wanna race with Baba,’” Samantha said, smiling. “She calls Brexton ‘Baba.’ Then she said, ‘I wanna race like Baba.’” Unlike the usual concerns mothers might have, Samantha has been incredibly supportive of Lennix’s budding interest in racing. She continued, confirming that the couple is already encouraging their little one to practice for a future in the sport. “We had her test at Millbridge, too,” Samantha said. “So I’m like, wow, wow!”

Fans might find themselves asking, why Millbridge Speedway? It’s not located in Busch’s native state, Vegas, nor did he start racing there. But Lennix is not following Rowdy. Her parents have put her on the path B-Rex took, back when he first raced at Millbridge Speedway. And that track is what fostered a need for success. Brexton went on to win the Saturday Beginner Box Stock Champion, and in the year that followed, won over 30 races at 11 different tracks. If there’s anyone whose career path Lennix would want to follow, it’s her older brother.

Besides, Millbridge has already witnessed the Battle of the Busch family once before, when just weeks ago Rowdy went head to head against B-Rex and came out on top. Perhaps young Lennix can put up a fight against her brother at the track as well!

For fans who missed Lennix Busch’s exploits on the track, the young racer already has some skill behind the wheel. Just a year ago, Samantha posted a video of Rowdy and Brexton helping Lennix drive a small pink car. She captioned the post, “This girl is all gas, no brakes 😂 Gotta love that Dad and big bro figured out how to rig it to go faster, little did they know she wasn’t about to check up for anything 🏁🩷”

And just a little while ago, Samantha shared a snippet of Lennix’s visit to the zMax dragway rounding with a caption, “The cutest model 🏁🩷”

One thing is for certain. Lennix is on her way to racing glory. It’s just a matter of time. In the meantime, let’s take a look at how the Busch couple parents young racing blood.

Kyle and Samantha Busch are good-cop and bad-cop

As tough as parenting can be, Kyle Busch has been balancing both fatherhood and coaching. The challenges of being a mentor and a father to his son, Brexton, have come with their fair share of difficulties, which Kyle has been open about.

But this is where he has found just the right solution. In a recent appearance on Kevin Harvick’s podcast, Kyle revealed how his wife, Samantha Busch, plays a crucial role in mediating between him and their son during moments of tension.

“There are times where I want to get on him about something and I’ll tell him and he’s like, ‘I’m trying that or I’m doing that or the car is terrible or it stinks, it’s not fast enough.’ And I’m like, ‘Hold on a second, you got the best money can buy, all right? Sometimes it’s not our problem, it’s your problem. So, you’ve got to figure it out,’” Kyle confessed.

However, the good-cop, bad-cop trick does not always apply to their nine-year-old. Even when Samantha steps in, there are chances their son would flare up with emotion at the sight of criticism.

“Mom [Samantha] is kind of the intermediary there where she helps kind of smooth things over, and we get to a common ground,” Kyle expanded on their teaching process. What do you think it would be like for Lennix when she officially joins the sport? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
