Having a kid is the greatest blessing that anyone can have and for those who want it and can’t have it, sometimes it can get intimidating. The costs associated with infertility treatment are quite high and people who fall under the middle to low-income category can struggle to make ends meet. Kyle and Samantha Busch had been on the end of this spectrum as well, and it seemed as though infertility had become an issue for them, too.

To ensure that money should not be an issue for those couples who want a baby and despite their struggle with infertility, the couple came up with an initiative under the name of The Bundle of Joy Fund. The organization also aims to propagate awareness campaigns about infertility and help couples welcome little angels to their homes.

The Busch’s changes a couple’s life forever

For the longest time, about eight years, both Samantha and Kyle Busch had been facing infertility issues. Not only has it affected them physically, but the entire process of discovering infertility as a problem and then the journey to combat the same has not been easy, even mentally. Samantha Busch was discovered with polycystic ovarian syndrome, whereas it was Kyle Busch who had also exhibited signs of infertility. Consequently, it made it impossible for the couple to conceive their second child.

The entire procedure had burdened the Busch’s with financial obligations, even though given Kyle Busch’s profession, they did not have much of a monetary issue. To ensure that couples who are trying for a baby and dealing with infertility do not have to go through financial troubles, the concept of the Bundle of Joy Fund was laid. Recently, the Busch’s came in support of a couple who had been yearning for a baby, and yet the financial pressures of getting IVF done had been mounting high. After receiving a donation of $25,000 from the organization, they were ecstatic. The couple, Callan and Trent, said, “It is the best Christmas gift that we could hope for. You know with infertility, every cycle is like starting over, starting over and so we just hope this is the last time that we have to start for”.

The video was posted via the official social media account of the organization and it was seen that Samantha walked in along with Kyle Busch and son and a huge cheque for the couple. The couple had been diagnosed with infertility, but they did not have the means to take up the treatment. In fact, they had managed a couple of rounds in the past with all of their savings, but could not manage to keep going ahead with the process. This is when the inception of this venture changed the life of the couple. The Bundle of Joy Fund is a kind initiative, and it is dedicated to supporting every couple in the United States. Till now, the organization has already funded 144 couples, and more than 100 babies have already been born under this organization.

Infertility is a very common issue nowadays and only those who deal with the same understand the implications it has. The idea behind the Bundle of Joy Fund has been to become a helping hand for those couples who want a baby, but finances are a struggle for them. The fund has already propagated $1,931,884 to couples in need. Samantha has been always very vocal about how much she is in support of those who deal with infertility, and her organization stands solid by the same ideology.

Bundle of Joy making it big across years

It was in 2015 that the pillars of Bundle of Joy were formulated after Samantha and Kyle Busch went through a rollercoaster journey during their infertility regimen. Initially, it was a venture that supported only Charlotte area couples, but with time, the visionary has moved ahead to more people. The organization holds its annual fundraising events and while Samantha Busch is the Chief Executive Officer, Kyle Busch is among the managing directors.

Speaking of the aim that this organization holds, Samantha said, “Of course, the grants are the main focus, but it is also about education and empowerment. This is why we share our story openly, so other women will feel comfortable asking questions or talking about it, and finding the support groups they require. This community is amazing.” The organization teams up with The Reach Clinic in Charlotte and Norman to distribute the money.

Even Kyle Busch has been actively involved in this venture. Speaking of the same, he said, “Many of them (Bundle of Joy recipients) have said this is life-changing. Them not having the means to go through it themselves, they would never be able to have children. So, with us being able to raise money and raise awareness, it has been very rewarding to be able”.
