Dale Earnhardt Jr’s nephew, Jeffrey Earnhardt will be returning to Sam Hunt Racing to pilot the No. 26 Toyota Supra for multiple races in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. ForeverLawn will be acting as the sponsor for the 34-year-old. Jeffrey Earnhardt will compete in his first race of the season at the Atlanta Motor Speedway on February 24.

ForeverLawn’s partnership with SHR’s No.26 for the number of races has not yet been confirmed but is expected to be announced soon. The North Carolina native driver will be rejoining the Toyota Racing family with this move after also driving Ford and Chevrolet in the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Last season driving the No.44 and 45 Chevys he finished 27th in the Xfinity Series overall standings with 272 points.

Jeffrey Earnhardt is looking forward to being reunited with SHR

Back in 2021, The Xfinity Series veteran featured in a total of eight races for SHR, piloting the No.26 Toyota. The major highlight from that partial schedule was his top-10 finish at the Nashville Super Speedway. However, after running his schedule with Alpha Prime Racing driving the Chevy in 2023, Jeffrey Earnhardt is back at SHR for yet another partial schedule in 2024 and under the TRD family.

Sam Hunt, owner of the team, is excited to rekindle the experiences of the 2022 season with Jeffrey Earnhardt. He said, “Jeffrey is a great guy that everyone enjoys being around and working with. We’ve had some great conversations over the past couple months and know he is committed to the program, as well as to the TRD family. His experience and full perspective view on the sport is always refreshing, and feel we had great speed together in 2022.”

Jeffrey feels like he has some unfinished business with the SHR team in the Xfinity Series, He claimed he has made the right move along with the return of his sponsor ForeverLawn. “I’m really excited to be returning to Sam Hunt Racing and the TRD family. We had strong races in 2022 and I feel like we have some unfinished business. Sam’s program continues to impress, and Toyota makes me feel so welcome. I know this is the right move and can’t wait to get back in the ForeverLawn GR Supra with Sam & team.”

Apart from providing the cool-looking Black-Green paint schemes for SHR’s No.26, ForeverLawn will be looking to add fuel to Jeffrey Earnhardt’s aspiration for a top-tier finish in 2024.

ForeverLawn is one of the leading companies in the synthetic turf industry and is a well-known entity represented by dealers across North America. The company has been a primary sponsor for the 34-year-old for the last three seasons and will continue to do so with his move to Sam Hunt Racing in 2024. Jeffrey’s previous best was a 7th-place finish at Nashville Super Speedway under the SHR team and with ForeverLawn as his sponsor.
