Earlier this year, the Los Angeles Coliseum made its debut in the NASCAR Cup Series. For that, a purpose-built race track was built inside the stadium for the cars to race on. In the buildup to the race weekend, the event was met with much trepidation and scorn. Even after the race concluded, with Joey Logano winning, it did not endear itself to the fans at all.
So when the Clash was counted at one of the Top 5 memorable moments, people were quick to decry that notion. To be completely honest, the track was way too short and seemed almost processional. Now the LA Coliseum track will be back in 2023 once again, and people are not too thrilled about it.

What complaints did the NASCAR fans have about the LA Coliseum?
The biggest complaint was that the race was boring and ‘a joke’. As a result, some people were incredibly disappointed that the Coliseum is getting a second race. Some even went as far as to claim that the Clash at the Coliseum was not a ‘real race’. They even found it hilarious that some would consider the 2022 Clash a ‘good race’.
Was a joke..sad to see it continue..

According to them, the entire race was simply a waste of money and a ‘sh*tshow’. Of course, they were a bit disappointed that the Coliseum will host the Clash for the foreseeable future. Some were of the opinion that the Daytona International Speedway was a far better option.
This was a waste of time and money. A total shit show. And of course, NASCAR is gonna do it again. The Clash is supposed to be at Daytona and only Daytona.

This race is just as big a stupid joke as Bristol dirt. Absolutely ridiculous. https://t.co/95xx2RIxbT

A few angry fans even compared this race to the Bristol Dirt race. Speaking of which, not many were too fond of the Bristol Dirt race. Though that was likely down to how the race ended, because Chase Briscoe and Tyler Reddick took each other out. This allowed a grateful Kyle Busch to sneak past and win the Bristol race.
