Late Saturday evening, Tony Stewart‘s driver Ryan Preece went airborne, barrel-rolling more than a dozen times, ending his speedway run after a horrific turn of events in the closing laps of Coke Zero Sugar 400. Saturday’s evening had an eerie cold atmosphere to it.

While the field revealed its true fierce nature, with the drivers going 3-wide, there was an ominous feeling that crept into the community. And at the final minutes of the race, things took a sharp turn for the worse as Preece‘s #41 Ford was sent into the air and flipped several times before coming to a stop, completely mangled.

NASCAR nation was shocked to see the Ford getting rag-dolled like a tin can until it came to a stop with flames emerging from the car. Ryan Preece gets thrown into the wind only to be rag-dolled as NASCAR nation once again witnesses the brutality of the sport

The end of the regular season certainly had a nail-biting finish as one Ford crossed the finish line, claiming another win while another got tossed into the air. Saturday’s race had the community talking and thinking at the same time. While Ryan Blaney’s wreck reminded fans about Dale Earnhardt Sr’s fatal crash at the same venue years ago, Ryan Preece’s vicious crash sent chills down their spine.

With just 5 laps to go, the #41 Ford was sent flying after contact with Erik Jones got the #41 car into the #14 SHR car of Chase Briscoe. The crash had the crowd on the edge of their seats as the car went for multiple violent flips in the grass till it came to a stop with flames emerging from the car.

While the community was taken aback to see such a horrific sight, Preece’s response got their attention as the driver cleared the air, promising a stronger comeback. Merely hours after getting rag-dolled and turned upside down, Tony Stewart’s driver once again proved his heart with a legendary tweet.
