Ross Chastain is back on track for a new season with an all-new sponsor! While the retirement of the legendary Kevin Harvick was bitter news for most of the NASCAR community, it was arguably a bittersweet moment for the #1 driver of Trackhouse Racing. As they saw the 2014 NASCAR Cup champion hang up his racing helmet, Busch Light found a new home in Chastain’s garage, giving the 31-year-old a chance to represent one of NASCAR’s most beloved sponsors.
Busch Light Deal: A Match Made in Heaven for Ross Chastain
With the season starting back on, Chastain seems to be back at his regular antics. After the chequered dropped for the Busch Light Clash, the #1 turned into the #45 of Tyler Reddick as part of retaliation for something the 23XI Racing driver did during the race. However, this season does mark a significant shift for Chastain, who will rock a new classic blue & white livery for Busch Light.

The beverage giant has signed a multi-year contract to sponsor Chastain’s car for 18 races, indicating a lengthy collaboration between the watermelon farmer from Alva and the prominent beer brand. For Chastain, the collaboration goes beyond mere endorsements. He recently told Forbes with excitement, “To see the Busch Light colors and logo on my car is truly special… It’s a dream come true and an honor to be racing in Busch Light’s classic blues and whites.”
The multi-year contract indicates Chastain’s expanding stardom further, powered by his aggressive driving style and the famous “video game move” at Martinsville in 2022. Fans share Chastain’s enthusiasm for this collaboration as well, as he enthusiastically embraces his new role as the new ‘Anheuser-Busch guy’, following a legacy of sponsored drivers like Kevin Harvick.
As Doug Rice of Performance Racing Network recently put it in an exclusive interview with Chastain, “Ross Chastain is the guy now.” The brand as it turns out chose the right driver to showcase themselves, as Chastain candidly shared, “I like drinking beer and that’s what’s so cool about it and I already Drink Busch Light.” He did clarify, however, “Now, In Market appearances on Friday, Saturday night, you know doing stuff for Busch Light… Not going to be drinking. I stop a few days ahead of time and I don’t drink every week.”

The Trackhouse driver’s infectious excitement is a major factor in his appeal. He’s more than simply a brilliant driver; he’s a relatable character who injects refreshing honesty into the sport. As he prepares for the season opener at Daytona on Feb. 18, he faces an interesting year, to say the least. From huge sponsorship deals to having major screentime in the first season of Netflix’s ‘NASCAR: Full Speed,’ Chastain’s offseason was a whirlwind of success and fame. Despite the flash and glamor, Chastain maintains his humility by returning to his roots in Southwest Florida on the family farm.
“It is everything I’ve ever wanted… but I’m not comfortable,” Chastain admitted in a recent NBC article, acknowledging his steadfast desire for perfection.
