The current Cup Series season has been full of ups and downs for Ross Chastain. In the first half of the season, he became the talk of the town due to his aggressive driving style and impressive finishes on the track. However, everything seemed to change after he wrecked Kyle Larson for the third consecutive time. The incident and its aftermath affected him and even his car seemed like it didn’t have enough pace.
Despite the setback, Chastain managed to bounce back and celebrated a well-deserved victory by smashing a watermelon in Nashville. However, his performance took another dip as he hasn’t had a top-20 finish in the three races since Nashville.

Nevertheless, he has managed to remain competitive and attract top sponsors for his car. One of the most-talked-about events of the past week was his sponsorship deal with Anheuser-Busch, which will see him sport the Busch Light colors starting in 2024.
Ross Chastain has switched his style after going to “beer school”
Anheuser-Busch has been sponsoring teams, drivers, and races in NASCAR for 44 years, and this deal is a significant move for the company as it shifts its focus from Kevin Harvick to Chastain. The Busch Light sponsorship is a major coup for Chastain and Trackhouse Racing. It is a sign of the team’s growing popularity, and it will give Chastain the resources he needs to compete for wins on a regular basis.
In a recent interview with veteran journalist Bob Pockrass, Chastain was asked several questions about beer, such as, how he plans to shift his persona as “the cool Busch Light guy.”
Chastain replied, “I know I am already. I already drink Busch Light so it’s not unnatural for me to have one. Going to beer school was cool to learn the differences in drinking from a can or bottle, from a package, and actually pouring it in glass and stuff. So I’m actually switching to actually drink those, to have a glass now, because it’s a better way to do it.”

After his response about his $110 billion sponsor, Ross Chastain sparked a lighthearted debate among fans about the best way to enjoy Busch Light. Several hard-core beer fanatics feel that it should be consumed directly from the can, which is cool and convenient.
Though there are some who prefer to pour it into a glass, the Twitter feed was rife with views to the contrary. Someone declared, “Busch Light should always be consumed ice cold from a can. No glass necessary. This is ‘Merica!”
A humorous comment stated, “Someone needs to tell Ross you don’t drink Busch Light out of a glass,” while some others questioned Chastain’s choice: “Beer out of a glass?”

A few other fans chimed in, stating, “Always a can for me,” and, “In Alva you have to drink it out of a can with a @CouchRacerShop koozie.”
