Back in July this year, Ross Chastain and Trackhouse Racing announced a partnership with Anheuser-Busch. The association with its Busch Light brand starts in 2024 in the NASCAR Cup Series. On the other hand, Jimmie Johnson went on to sign up one of Trackhouse Racing’s sponsors for the next season.
Safe to say, Johnson has been a key decision-maker at Legacy Motor Club since last February. While he took over from Richard Petty, the team has seen quite a few changes.

The deal between Ross Chastain and Anheuser-Busch in July was likely to prompt sponsor AdventHealth away. Having smelled the opportunity, Johnson signed up with the healthcare firm for not only sponsoring himself but also Erik Jones’ #43 car.
The move sees AdventHealth serve as the primary sponsor in six races next year including the Daytona 500. At the same time, they will sponsor Legacy Motor Club co-owner Jimmie Johnson in three of his races. This includes the races at Texas Motor Speedway, Kansas Speedway, and Charlotte Motor Speedway.
It appears the Advent Health sponsorship has moved to Legacy. When Busch Light joined Trackhouse, it was likely that Advent Health would move to another team. https://t.co/WKLUY4eJxO

It is worth noting that AdventHealth sponsored Ross Chastain in nine races in 2022 and in six races this year. While it is a welcome change for the healthcare firm, even Legacy Motor Club is going through its own set of reforms. Most notably, they will be shifting their manufacturers from Chevrolet to Toyota in 2024.
In fact, this is the first time that Johnson will be driving a Toyota car in his racing career. While he is competing for up to ten races this season, it is unclear when his first race will take place. Either way, it will be nice to see him back racing especially after the trauma he and his family went through this year.
I’m honored to share that @BuschBeer will be my primary sponsor starting next season. To have the support of the official beer of @NASCAR is an unbelievable opportunity and I can’t wait to see what’s around the track for us next year @TeamTrackhouse! 🍻 https://t.co/dV9kgEZA8T

Having said that, he looked in good spirits after closing the AdventHealth deal. As reported by Forbes, Johnson said, “This is a wonderful day for Legacy M.C. AdventHealth believes health should be measured in terms of the whole person — body, mind, and spirit.”

He added, “This partnership is a natural fit for our club and I know we will do great things together. I can’t wait for this season to get started.” Johnson indeed looked ecstatic there as was the case with the CEO of AdventHealth.

The 2024 Cup Series season is going to be a big one for Legacy Motor Club. Alongside Joe Gibbs Racing, it will be the second major team to represent the Toyota Racing Family. While it was only natural for Jimmie Johnson to hunt for a sponsor like AdventHealth, the healthcare firm’s CEO Terry Shaw looked in a fine mood after the announcement.
As reported by Forbes, he said, “We are thrilled to partner with Legacy Motor Club and drivers Erik Jones and Jimmie Johnson and are looking forward to a winning 2024 race season. AdventHealth has been a sponsor in the sport since 2015 and we appreciate the opportunity to provide care for this team and the passionate NASCAR fan base.”

Shaw continued, “Together, we can make a tremendous impact in our communities and ensure more people have the opportunity to access whole-person care.” Johnson would surely be cherishing this deal. After all, the partnership could indeed turn out to be fruitful for LMC. However, it is only time that can give us the best and most detailed answers.
